Meet the Panelists
Garcia Hanson-Francis
Garcia Hanson-Francis, CPM, A Certified Payroll Manager with over 20 years experience in payroll, QuickBooks Pro Advisor, Certification in Business Writing, and several accounting certificates.
A founding member of IWB, CEO of CADJPro Payroll Solutions, and winner of the People’s Choice Awards Accountant category three years in a row! Garcia is also the author of “Blessed by God, Broken by Life” book.
CADJPro Payroll Solutions offer virtual payroll services to small, medium and large size clients as well as customized accounting solutions and partnered HR services.
Garcia’s strong attention to detail and passion for customer satisfaction and success has enabled the team, and her to form a strong connection within the industry. She also runs CADJPro Virtual Tax clinic through which she prepares tax return for injured Canadians, underprivileged population (seniors, immigrants, students, seniors, incarcerated individuals, single families etc.
Garcia ensures the support of female entrepreneurs, mentors new business owners, and recruits female volunteers looking to gain expertise in the field. she has great work ethic, good gut instincts, and a polite nature of how she engages. Easy to have complex discussions with, always looking for a new way to help the team. She is an assertive, result oriented and excels in planning and implementation.
Elizabeth Goncalves
Elizabeth leads Hillsdale Investment Management Inc.’s Talent Acquisition and Development efforts. Elizabeth has over 20 years of experience working in various Human Resources (HR) roles including in HR Operations, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition. Despite thinking she was going to become an English teacher, Elizabeth studied History and Anthropology at the University of Toronto. She had a life changing experience volunteering overseas that put her on the path of International Project Management.
She met her husband of over 17 years, and within one year, they undertook a complete home renovation, Elizabeth started her MBA at Centenary College (NJ) just 2 weeks after giving birth to her oldest son and finished while on leave with her second son.
Amongst many other subject areas, she has training in the Korn Ferry Hay Job Evaluation Methodology, the Art of Facilitation, Digital Marketing, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Agile Foundations, Volunteer Management and HR Management. Elizabeth describes herself as a lifelong learner and knows this has only been possible because of the love and support of her family.
Antoinette Chris-Oguta
Antoinette Chris-Oguta is an entrepreneur, tech enthusiast, and speaker. She is the Founder of Emike Luxury (a natural skincare and home fragrance brand inspired by self care with a focus on sustainability) and works as a Strategy Consultant in the Payments Technology industry where she provides advisory services to financial services clients.
She is married to her lover, Christopher Oguta, and they are blessed with three children.
